Create a Sassy arrangement of Rug Hooked Proddy Sunflowers for your table. This workshop will teach you how to proddy and assemble a Sunflower. Some basic rug hooking experience required.

Learn how to make a little luxury go a long way when spinning such luxury fibres as quivit to cashmere. Content includes maximizing investment through blending lux fibres with such fibres as cotton, silk and wool, with a focus on the effects each type of fibre brings to the blend.

You will need to bring; a spinning wheel, had carders (108-120 tpi), a niddy noddy, a digital scale capable of measuring in 0.1 gram increments, sharp scissors (with medium to long blades) and 6mm wooden knitting needles.

Learn to needle felt by creating a cute owl figure using a variety of natural wool colours and tiny curly locks. You will be taught how to needle felt the basic owl shapes and different techniques for detailing. Owl sits approximately 3" tall
Cathy Disbrow is a fibre artist who creates unique needle felted creations. She sculpts and paints her art by connecting wool fibers: whether it’s stabbing wool with a felting needle OR using hot water and agitation. She loves working with wool because it’s organic, making each creation unique. Cathy started needle felting back in 2014 and been teaching classes and workshops since March 2017. She’s energetic and passionate about what she does. She enjoys spreading the love of needle felting through workshops and do-it-yourself craft kits.

Learn how to rug hook with a punch needle by creating a colourful and funky tea cosy of mixed fibres. This fun class in order to learn the many artistic possibilities of the punch needle. Hemming and construction techniques will also be covered.
Christing Johnson is an artist who loves to have fun experimenting with fibre. A former arts administrator and curator. Christine worked for many years in public galleries, espectially artist run centres. Her art pulses with bright colours, many textures and often incorporates abstract and graphic shapes.

In this 4 hour class we will create a fabulous magical woodland that you could almost stroll right in to .Particiapnts can choose to do any 1 of the 4 seasons. These is a pattern on the background to follow as I take you step by step into this magical real of Needle Felting creativity.

When felted, certain rovings create a lacy pattern. In this 2 hour class you will create such a lovely lacy felted scarf. No previous felting experience is required.

Come learn how to knit a quick and easy pumpkin! Depending on the yarn weight and needle size you use, your pumpkin could be the biggest in the patch or perfect for a fall table decoration. Students can then embellish their pumpkins with knitted or natural objects. Each pumpkin will be unique, perfect for attractive fall decor or gift giving.

Celebrate Autumn by learning to needle felt this seasonal Fall Gnome. You will learn how to needle felt a gnome using a variety of Fall wool colours. Techniques you'll learn are wrapping a cone shape on a skewer, adding wooll colours, and how to attach arms and feet. These gnomes are excellent decor for your home and make great gifts. Gnome stands about 4" tall.

Torchon bobbin lace is most commonly worked with very fine cotton or linen thread. However, when the thread is upsized to a soft, sock-weight yarn, you can create beautiful, lacy scarves. In this workshop, Cat will teach three basic Torchon bobbin lace ground stitches that on their own will produce beautiful accent scarves. By using varigated yarn or by mixing co-ordinating or contrasting colours you can create eye-catching effects. This workshop is intended to produce three bookmark-sized samples that you can then base a full-sized scarf upon. You provide the yarn, and the workshop kit will provide the tools you need to create the samples

The Swift Darning Loom makes repairs easy, artful and quick. No previous mending experience is required we will learn how to assess damage and choose the right mending technique, choose yarn, set up the darning loom and weave a simple patch. You can work with our sample fabric and yarns, or bring your own yarn and a worn pair of socks or other garment to be patched. You'll leave condifent about your warps and wefts, ready to add new layers of love to all your favourite knitwear.
